Sri Lank Flood Appeal

Sri Lanka is facing one of the most devastating floods in its recent history. Torrential rains and overflowing rivers have struck every corner of the island, sweeping away homes, destroying livelihoods, and forcing thousands of families, many with children, elderly relatives, and disabled members into temporary shelters with nothing but the clothes they escaped in.

The hardest-hit communities include Nuwara Eliya, Kegalle, Gampaha, Colombo, and other river-valley regions, where landslides and rising waters have made entire villages unsafe. Families who were already living hand-to-mouth plantation workers, daily-wage earners, female-headed households, and the rural poor are now among the most vulnerable.

But together, we can help. The Sri Lankan Muslim Community in UK are gathering funds to help support those in need. Please support this appeal this Jumu’ah
